BLOGMAS!

Blogmas Day 1

It’s that time of year, December is officially upon us and that means Christmas is closer, the festivities are beginning and Blogmas is here and has taken off at full blast!

Blogmas is a special time of year for a lot of bloggers who take part and for those of you who aren’t really sure what Blogmas brings, here’s a little run down of what to expect!

Blogmas is the blogging version of Vlogmas (a YouTuber’s Christmas series) and is such a fun and uplifting time in the blogging community. Everyday from now until Christmas you can expect all things winter/holiday/Christmas related to be the theme in the featured blog posts. It’s the time of year to embrace all things red, green, and jolly and a lot of blogs will reflect those exact things (this one included)! Some bloggers continue this theme throughout the entire month of December and some only do twelve days of Blogmas, it really varies per each bloggers preference. My goal is to bring you guys 25 days of Blogmas featuring festive content leading up to Christmas Day! Pull up your elf socks, it’s happening!

Given that this is my first year of blogging, this is also my very first Blogmas! I’m so super duper excited to be participating this year, and hopefully it will become an annual event for me and the blog. I think it’s a great way to explore a specific niche and a nice little creative challenge for myself. Time to think outside the box.

I’ve never been the type of blogger with a post schedule, partly because life just gets so busy so I don’t even think I could keep up with a posting schedule but also because I don’t want that kind of pressure. However with Blogmas it feels different because writing the posts just gets me into the Christmas season even more than I previously was and makes my holiday spirit soar.

My hope is that you guys will follow allow with my blog during Blogmas and that you enjoy the posts, maybe even take something away from reading, or find some inspiration within my weird words. I hope it helps to get you into the holiday spirit as much as it has for me! 🎄🎁⛄️🦌

Here’s a little sneak peak of what’s to come on the blog for the next 25 days of Blogmas:

  • Stocking filler gift guide
  • Shop locally this Christmas
  • Ugly Christmas Sweaters
  • Christmas eve traditions
  • Christmas decor inspiration
  • Amazing/unusual advent calendars

Let me know what blog post you’re the most excited to read in the comment section below!

Are you participating in Blogmas this year? Let me know in the comments so I can check out your posts!

  1. Hope you enjoy doing Blogmas – I did it for the first time last year and had a good time, although I struggled a bit towards the end because I was off work and already in the holiday mood! I don’t have much time off this year though, so that won’t happen!
I love to see what kinds of advent calendars people have, so I’ll be watching out for that one.
I’m doing Blogmas on https://unseen-beauty.com – I added the link because I have 2 blogs and Blogmas is only on one of them.
Have fun and I’m looking forward to reading your Blogmas posts.

  2. I know I’m a little late on reading this, but I can’t wait to read all your posts!! How fun that you are participating in 25 days of Blogmas!! I’ve considered doing it, but I’m so intimidated by it. I like how you have a plan going into it though–I bet that will really help!! ❤

      1. Don’t worry, I totally agree and especially in December when things are so busy anyway, life just gets in the way! You’re doing a great job though, I’m really enjoying reading your blog posts and thank you so much for the follow!:)
