Love Beauty And Planet Murumuru Butter & Rose Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Okay wow that was a long title.

Shout out to Style Democracy for sending me this sample to review and test out complimentary, you guys rock.

Now, you all know I love to try new products but I don’t tend to stray far from my favourite Joico shampoo and conditioner- so I was already skeptical about these products living up to their standard.

The smell is weird to describe, at first I was totally into and thought that it smelt great but the longer I smelt it the more I felt like I smelled like the soap you find at a gas station. You know the pink kind? Yeah.

That being said the smell is super overwhelming, even after I rinsed out the product and dried my hair it just wouldn’t go away. Since I didn’t like the smell this was a huge turn off for me.

I found that the shampoo lathered in my hair well, but it was extremely hard to rinse out. I eventually just gave up and probably left some of the product in my hair.

The conditioner wasn’t any better, and it didn’t make my hair soft whatsoever. When my hair dried it didn’t feel soft or nourished, it felt rather dry and it was extremely frizzy.

There was enough product left in the samples for a second use but I was so unimpressed that I didn’t even want to use it.

I desperately wanted to like this product because it’s so environmentally friendly and the ingredients are so good for your body and your hair.

Needless to say I won’t be investing any more time into this brands haircare, but that doesn’t mean I will write off the company completely!

That’s it for this review lovely’s, let me know what you think about the brand Love Beauty & Planet in the comment section below!
