When I walked into Sephora I had one mission: find a setting spray for my oily skin that will actually work for me.
The first setting spray that I ever tried was the Urban Decay De-Slick and because I thought that I was getting a high end product I expected to see amazing results. It was a bust. I went in blindly and didn’t ask any questions which I think was a huge mistake because this time around was a huge success.
The associate that helped me was so nice and friendly (not to mention super attractive, but then again you have to be good looking to work at Sephora right). She really helped me to find the perfect product that would work for my skin, and started my obsession with Too Faces Peach Line.
Now that you know the story, let’s jump into the review.
I have to mention the smell right off the hop. This setting spray is the best thing I’ve ever smelt- it literally smells like a freshly picked peach. I find that the smell is not overwhelming whatsoever, I smell it when I apply the product and for a few seconds afterward and then it slowly lingers away.
The packaging is super cute, and I love the sticker that they use to remind you to shake it before you use it. So clever.
The spray nozzle is designed really well and I don’t have an issue with the product coming out in droplets instead of as a mist.
I usually tilt my head back and spray the product above my face and let the mist fall down on me (but I’m super weird y’all)
The setting spray dries to an almost powder like finish, which keeps my skin matte and the oils at bay. I love the look of it on my skin, and it keeps my makeup in place no matter how hot outside it is, or how much the oils of my skin try to break through.
The longevity of this product surprised me, however I believe it will impress me even more when I start to get a good skin care routine in order (because we all know the secret to flawless makeup application is a good skin care routine)
I also love using this product to spray my eye shadow brushes before I use them to apply glittery shadows it makes the pigmentation pop. It’s an amazing makeup hack- if you haven’t tried it I highly suggest you do (any setting spray will work)
That’s it for this review lovely’s, let me know if you’ve ever tried this setting spray and how you feel about it in the comment section below.
