What’s in the Box
I love getting mail from Influenster especially because I love to test and try out new products to let y’all know if it’s worth it before you go out and grab it for yourselves.
This campaign, I was chosen to review Neutrogena’s Deep Clean Purifying Clay Cleansure & Mask as well as their Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask!
Already having established my skin care routine with my favourite facial cleanser from St. Ives, I was iffy switching it up but so far so good! I’m not finding myself disappointed with the products. Let’s jump right into the logistics shall we?
Deep Clean Purifying Clay Cleanser & Mask
Skepticism put aside, I decided to just dive in and give these products a go.
The first thing that crossed my mind was how this product would preform as a cleanser. Because it’s also a clay mask, I was unsure whether the product would lather the way that I wanted it to but to my surprise it did. Don’t ask me why but my soaps have to lather and get all “soapy” or I don’t like them at all, this one past the test.
I have super SUPER oily skin and HUGE pores (I’m not exaggerating) so a deep cleaning cleanser is a must for me but also one that’s not harsh and strips my skin of all it’s essential oils. This product has amazing cleansing power yet is gentle on my skin and leaves a tingly, cool, clean, crisp feeling that I just absolutely love.
As far as the product goes in use of a mask, I’m also highly impressed. The formula smells amazing and doesn’t feel too thick and yucky on your face, it’s a lovely blueish green colour and it dries fairly quickly. It’s super simple to wash off and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and oh so soft.
I am a huge fan of products that are versatile and have multiple uses, this would be great for traveling when you’re packing light! A cleanser and a mask on the go.
I will definitely continue to purchase this product, and I believe it’s worth the buy. Let me know if you pick this product up and what you think of it!
Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask
As far as sheet masks go, I’m usually not a fan. They’re either too big for my face, too soaked in product for my liking, or they fall off. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised when I tired Neutrogena’s Hydrogel Mask.
Although it was a little big (I honestly figure I have a small face, idk) it wasn’t as huge as most come and I was comfortable while wearing it. I felt like I could actually walk around without it falling off which was a bonus!
When it came to the actual serum on the mask, I felt that they put just the right amount. I didn’t feel like it might drip off the mask and onto me or my clothes. I did have to rub some extra product into my face after I removed the mask but that was no biggie.
It left my face feeling so fresh and moisturized. I hate masks that leave my skin feeling sticky (the worst, ugh) and this mask didn’t let me down on that end!
Again for the price of these products, you honestly can’t go wrong. With the Deep Clean Purifying Clay Cleanser & Mask it instructs you to use 2-3 times per week, using it at that rate the product should last you a good few months or more.
I hope you guys enjoyed the review, stay tuned for another VoxBox unveiling and review coming shortly!
